I didn’t want to prematurely recommend the W in Bali but after 4 days I can say fantastic location, fantastic rooms, amazing service, spectacular food. Everywhere we went when people asked where we stayed and we said the W they acted like we were royalty. The gentleman who served us brunch on Sunday still called out to Miss Cindy every time he saw me in the hotel. I didn’t get to post the video of the skylight opening and closing in the bathroom, but maybe I can share in comments.

I was just talking about NCL’s flight policy yesterday with another advisor. While I love the guarantees provided by other cruise lines, I would never ever book flights with NCL. The list of reasons would take an hour to post, so just take my advice and don’t.

It was supposed to be a “trip of a lifetime” – a 12-day, land-and-sea journey in Alaska for seven members of the Thompson family of Roanoke. Instead, they were back home within 48 hours, with no vacation but endless frustrations. Now they’re $58,300 poorer.
