Today was the kickoff of KeyCon 2024! Tonight was the 2nd annual Key to World Travel Star Awards Gala. I was so honored to nominated as Mentor of the Year and voted winner of The Motivator award. This morning we enjoyed a delicious wholiday breakfast with the Grinch and Friends! We enjoyed chatting with the citizens of Whoville while eating our meal and then we were whisked away to visit with the Grinch himself. This is a great way to avoid the super long lines of the Meet & Greet!

It is not uncommon for guests who have never been before to confuse Hollywood Studios (Disney) and Universal Studios theme parks. I have even seen guests in the parks think they were going to the other theme park!

Part of my job as a travel planner is to guide my clients and ensure they have correct and accurate information. I need to make sure that my Harry Potter loving clients are heading to the right place and aren’t disappointed when they find Darth Vader instead! It’s been a busy week over here!! This is just a snapshot of some of the things I do each day for my clients- quoting vacations, building itineraries, making payments, adjusting booked trips, making special requests on my clients’ behalf, staying in communication about upcoming important dates, creating customized travel documents, attending webinars with suppliers- and so much more!

While traveling is definitely the more glamorous part of the job, it’s actually a very small (but important!) part. My days are dedicated to providing comprehensive service to my clients from the beginning to the end of their vacation planning. I would love to assist you too!

Breaking News!! Disney is rolling out a pilot program this month called Lightning Lane Premiere Pass.

Launching 10/23 at Disneyland and 10/30 for Walt Disney World, this new pass allows guests to buy an all day pass for riding select attractions (single use per attraction) without any need for a pre-scheduled return time! Please note- Initial rollout will only be for deluxe resort guests at WDW.
