It was 2011 and my family and I were celebrating my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary. I love them so much and I couldn't contain my joy when I first heard they were throwing a big celebration. I had no idea what I was going to get them, but I knew three things for sure:

I needed a gift that reflected how deeply I cared about them

I needed a memorable gift

I needed the gift to be custom ma

de just for them

There was one problem; I didn't have much money to spend! What happened next surprised me...

I searched all over the internet to find the perfect gift but couldn't find anything that met all three criteria. I had some experience in photoshop but I had never made invitations before. I was tired of searching Pinterest and was willing to give it a try, so I obsessed for three weeks over the invitations to get them perfect! I was nervous my family wouldn't like them, but once I saw my Grandmother's eyes light up the first time she saw them I knew I had chosen the perfect gift. I'm so glad I was able to give them the ultimate personalized and memorable gift and I only spent $35 to print them all! My Grandmother still has her invitation framed in her living room :-)

Its been so much fun ever since! People began asking me for help with their invitations and five years later I am so happy to still be doing this for a living. I love to design invitations, but kids birthday parties are my favorite of all :)
