Japan is crazy. Plain and simple. This country is the most unique nation on the planet, and I am completely honored to be living here, albeit just as a student...for now. I use the word "crazy" because "crazy" has many meanings. Crazy can be something completely bad, something that should be avoided, or something that is absolutely unusual or dangerous...But crazy also means "absolutely and 100% t

otally unique, awesome, and something people should know about, learn about, and be educated in." That's my goal. I want to show you how amazing this country is and how unique both the people, the society, and the nation itself is crazy. We can laugh at the engrish, we can laugh at the incoherent words on people's shirts, but that's exactly what they want sometimes. I remember asking a clerk at Shibuya109 if she knew what the word "f**k" meant, as it was plastered all over the shirts she was selling. She smiled and said in Japanese, "of course I do. Its you foreigners that are the ones who think it is silly...but that is our goal. We wanna make you laugh, make you scratch your heads, and say why?"

Only in Japan can someone come up with such an idea. And Other ideas too, which I will share with you on this page. If you have photos from Japan you wish to submit, PLEASE send them to me, either by PM or posting them on the wall!!!! You will be fully credited for your photos!!!!
