Top 5 reasons to visit Disneyland’s 70th celebration, according to my 8 year old!

Although to be honest I’m surprised she said fireworks first when snacks were definitely her #1. We had been talking about meeting (and eating) Baymax for awhile now 😂

Disney Cruise Line and safety concerns.

I’ve had a few people reach out after the recent news of a kiddo going overboard on a Disney cruise recently. I’m glad everyone is OK and impressed of the reports how quickly the team responded.

I’ve been on 5 cruises and truly have never felt unsafe for myself or my family. As you can see in the photos, the railings are fairly high. For anyone in a room with a verandah, the lock is on the top of the door so younger ones can’t get to it easily. If you’re traveling with kids on a cruise it’s important to talk about safety, never letting them out on the verandah alone and not climbing up on the railing or furniture.

❤️ I love Disneyland ❤️

Someone the other day asked me why as east coasters we would fly across the country to visit a Disney theme park. The answer is lots of reasons! The parks have a lot of different entertainment and attractions than Walt Disney World, everything is compact and SoCal isn’t as hot in the summer as Orlando. Plus there is something to be said about visiting Walt’s original park and seeing how far his vision has come.
