As part of good hoofcare, it's really important to give feet a really good scrub out at least once a week so you can get a *really* good L👀K at what's going on down there. One of my clients today demonstrating how to get a hoof really clean, not forgetting the central sulcus and getting right to the bottom of the collateral grooves 😅 This hoof had a lot of issues with thrush when I started trimming her a few months ago, so much so that her entire sole and 80% of her hoof wall were crumbling to pieces. A good scrub then application of Red Horse Field Paste (when hoof is dry) and this hoof is making astonishing improvements. Keep an eye out for our upcoming 'how to' hoof care series.
