Me singing into Snow White’s wishing well in Disneyland, hoping to hear the voice of my prince. Instead, I just got the wishing well telling me “you’ve been married 22 years lady- move it along!” I still love sampling my Snow White vibrato into the well regardless- it’s my special skill. 😂
Did you know this charming spot existed? It’s right off the castle hub, but no matter how many times I come here I am almost always here alone. (though you can sometimes catch a princess wandering around here – this trip I saw Rapunzel) It is a great spot to snap a photo and catch a breath.
🎉This year I got to spend my birthday in Disneyland with my family- such an incredible gift! I’m here rope dropping Radiator Springs Racers on our first full park day. ❤️ Early morning is my very favorite time in the Disney parks 🥳
If you stay onsite and have a really strategic morning plan you can quite possibly ride Web Slingers, Guardians of the Galaxy, AND you can be in line for Radiator Springs Racers before the park is even open to the general public! You save yourself hours in line. (We choose to spend those hours on an outdoor patio midday soaking in the sun which we do not get quite enough of in Seattle ☀️)
I’m day dreaming of walking down a cobblestone road in Europe just like this one in Strasbourg.
🏰If you’ve never thought about a river cruise before, it is one of the most fuss free ways to travel around Europe. You can travel while you sleep and wake up in a beautiful new location without having to schlep your luggage from place to place. It’s pretty magical.
If the idea of navigating Europe on your own feels overwhelming or like something you just don’t feel like micro managing on a relaxing vacation, a river cruise is a pretty perfect pivot. Many have guides that travel with you and help you explore each new town you arrive in, giving you context and history and making available multiple activities that are typically included in your fare.
And if you’ve made it this far – the big finish- my most favorite part of all not kidding-
If it’s an Adventure by Disney River Cruise, they even carry around coins for you, so you don’t have to worry about having the requisite correct change when you need to use those ubiquitous European coin op bathrooms! My personal brand of Magic 🤣

🇮🇹 Welcome to the Gallery of Maps at the Vatican in Rome! One of my favorite sights. The first picture is what it typically looks like for the average tourist on a summer day, and the second picture is a photo I took when I was visiting during peak summer travel season. The only difference is a strategic touring plan!
This wonderful place was on my mind, as I just sent a client on this tour during Christmas week, and I’m sending another during spring break. Having a great plan in place really makes all the difference!

It does feel a little bit like you need a degree to do Disney these days! You're not the only one to have noticed. You know it’s an issue when major news outlets are taking notice. Planning a Disney vacation doesn’t have to be a panic inducing project though.

🎄It’s hard to commit to planning a BIG vacation. It carries so much mental weight for people. It’s sometimes hard to even get started. But a great trip isn’t just wonderful while you’re on it, it comes back to you again and again with a million joyful reminders. It’s one of the reasons I love putting up our tree. 🎄
Don’t let analysis paralysis keep you from starting to plan something that can become a wonderful memory.
