물개들의 안식처 물개섬(Seal Island)

케이프 만에서 쾌속선을 이용하여 약 35분 거리에 있으며 수천마리(6천여)의 물개들이 바위섬에 살고 있어 물개를 아주 가까이서 볼 수 있다. 인근해변 여러 곳에도 서식하고 있으나 특히 물개가 집중적으로 모여 서식하는 섬이다. 파도가 심하면 모타보트의 운행이 정지되기도 하지만 물개와 어울려 펼쳐진 주위 경관이 매우 아름답다.

예전에는 더 많은 물개들이 서식하고 있었으나 현지 어민들이 어획고를 걱정하여 물개를 포획하여 그 수가 많이 줄었다고 한다.
