Garden-Inspired Tours

Each year, millions of visitors come to Paris for its history, culture and monuments. Many are content to take the traditional sight-seeing approach while others seek a more authentic and immersive experience. It is for those curious travellers that Picturesque Voyages was established. As an American living in Paris for 25 years, a published art historian, PhD, and nationally-certified tour guide, founder Susan Taylor Leduc has curated a collection of garden-inspired tours that serve as open-air classrooms and lifelong learning experiences.

Each tour is designed to engage and inform those interested in art and nature, exploring how gardens reflect French and European art and history. Whether exploring historic gardens, strolling through the streets of Paris, or looking at exceptional landscape paintings at the Musée d’Orsay and Louvre, we delve deeply into garden history. Our sensorial tours explore how gardens influence French gastronomy and perfumery. To learn about Picturesque Voyages tours visit: www. picturesquevoyages.com
