It is time for our January Calendar photo reveal (albeit a bit late!)

As well as January's photo, we will also showcase this year's cover photo, which was of the The glowing Chicago skyline from the banks of Lake Michigan, taken courtesy of Rob, who visited Chicago as part of his USA road trip in August 2024

January's photo is of the Great Wall of Chine. Totaling more than 13,000 miles in length and perhaps the most recognisable symbol of China, the Great Wall was originally conceived in the third century B.C.

We received a record number of entries for our calendar competition last year. Ahead of revealing January's photo we thought we best formally announce the winners.

SO, We are delighted to announce that Carl Sadd, which his arty photo of Grand Central Terminal won 1st prize.

Alastair Jones came a close 2nd with his wonderfully captured Milford Sound photo.

3rd place went to Mike Pye with his adorable Orangutan capture.

Well done to all 3 and thank you to everyone who entered.
