I had a great time last week with an opportunity from Celebrity Cruises and Travel Leaders Network for a Celebrity Learning At Sea! While sailing aboard the beautiful Celebrity Reflection, I was able to learn more about the ship and the Celebrity brand as well as network with other agents and our National Sales Account Manager. Fun and exciting time on the Scarlet Lady last week. Definitely not the “usual” cruise experience. I cannot say enough about the excellent service and delicious food and the beautiful ship.

Heading back from a whirlwind adventure.
Two night trade event on the new Royal Caribbean Wonder of the Seas with a stop at their private island Perfect Day at Coco Cay. Largest cruise ship and just beautiful. Always able to find as much or as little to do and two days was not nearly enough.

Last weekend on the new Norwegian Prima was an amazing experience. The ship is absolutely gorgeous! It has an elegant feel to it such as you would find in an upscale hotel. Prima is the first in a new class of ships for NCL. It is not a huge ship, double capacity just under 3000 and it is not a long walk from front to back but there are 20 decks! This ship is definitely geared more towards an adults and older kids but there are still activities for the younger demographic, just not as many options. For the adults, however—- goodness there is so much to do (or not do if you so prefer). The multi deck go carts, interactive 9 hole tee time, tabletop shuffleboard, ping pong, pickle ball court and beer pong tables!! There are 3 slides; one is a drop slide that only takes about 4.5 seconds to go 8 decks and the other two are side by side and you can race your sailing buddy.
The food was delicious at all of the included venues as well as specialty restaurants. We ate at Le Bistro, one of my favorites. There is a food hall where you order on a tablet and they deliver delicious, fresh cooked items in no time at all.
The staterooms on board are all approximately 30% larger than their other ships. And they are beautifully appointed. And the bathrooms!! Such a good size and large showers in all room categories. The Haven exclusive suite area is also gorgeous and well appointed.
The Prima has two infinity edge pools on each side, a fabulous spa with thermal spa, ice room, salt room, saunas and more.
The Prima will be sailing out of Miami for a while but she will be back in Galveston December 2023-April 2024. It is already available to book so if you are thinking about a cruise on a fabulous new ship, just contact me! 💁🏻‍♀️

Kids! From the nursery to the Oceaneer’s club to the Edge and Vibe. So. Much. For kids to do! A new 18-20 year old area too.
The Hero Zone is an indoor full sized basketball court surrounded upstairs by foosball and ping pong tables.
Instead of one or two main pools, there are multiple smaller pools as well as a Toy Story themed splash area.
And the Aqua Mouse water coaster was a blast!!

The decor and overall theme of the Wish is enchanting and fairytale. Staterooms are beautifully appointed. Every second floor is themed. For example, Moana, Tiana, etc.
our room was an ocean view with verandah. We were able to tour the Wish Tower Suite -3 bedroom two level sleeps 8 and the Aurora Suite-also two level sleeps 6. They are gorgeous, to say the least. The photos do not do the rooms justice.

Disney Wish has a good number of bars and lounges available including
Bayou-themed after The Princess and the Frog
Nightingale’s-piano bar
Star Wars Hyperspace Bar-for our sailing reservations were required.
The Cove-adult only area located at the back of the ship (as opposed to the front of other DCL ships)
The Rose-a beautiful little bar located just outside of Palo and Enchante.
The Wishing Star Cafe and Enchanted Sword Cafe are a combo coffee bar and cocktails.
There are a quite few more around the ship, too including in the outdoor area of the Rainforest thermal spa area.

Palo- like on other Disney ships but this one is billed as a steakhouse. Still Italian, though.

Main dining venues on board The Disney Wish:
1923 (Roy and Walt Disney) - very much like dining in an upscale restaurant in the city.
Marvel-fun and interactive dining with Marvel characters (Antman and the Wasp). We helped save the ship 😉
Arendelle-dinner show with cast of Frozen as we celebrated the engagement of Anna and Kristoff. Fun show with amazing singing!
Marceline Market-Buffett style dining
Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods-think pizza, bbq, burgers, hot dogs, cantina and of course, ice cream!
