The Monk Seal Cave used to be the habitat of a Mediterrenian bear ๐Ÿฆญ, the smallest species of seals which are among the most endangered mammals in the world. Today its population is estimated to 600 to 700 species living mostly in the Aegean Sea, the archipelago of Madeira and the Cabo Blanco area.
Cave itself is 160 meters long with extremly narrow end terminating in a small beach.
