Just booked! My clients are heading to the Prince Waikiki in Hawaii for their honeymoon! Their resort is on a beautiful marina, and just a small walk to a gorgeous beach! I'm so excited for them- they are going to have such a wonderful time!

Yesterday we ported in Civitavecchia and booked a private driver/tour guide to drive us around Rome, and this was one of the best things we could have ever done!

We started off the day with our tour guide making a pit stop at a bakery for me! I grabbed a delicious croissant, and then…

We went to our underground tour at the Colosseum! This was a HUGE bucket list item for Carter, so we were thrilled we got to see this.

Next, our driver took us to a local restaurant, and they took such great care of us. We asked him to come eat with us, and we got to learn all about him and his family. The restaurant kept bringing us food that they thought we would like- it was wonderful!

After lunch, we did some driving around and exploring, and then made a final stop at the Trevvi Fountain before heading back to the ship.

We had the BEST day in Rome, and can’t wait for what’s next!

Yesterday we had an AMAZING day at Cinque Terre!

We ported in Marina di Carrara and decided to take a few trains to get to the beautiful towns of Cinque Terre and it was SO worth it! These locations have been on my bucket list, and I am just SO glad I got to see them! We also loved getting to ride the train through Italy!

With Virgin Voyages, we didn’t have to be back at the port until 7:30, so we had a full day of exploring- it was wonderful!

Today we had our first port day of our Virgin Voyages cruise! We stopped in Toulon, France and got to walk around and explore!

When we were done we went back to the ship to grab some ice cream, and then got ready for dinner!

We ate at Extra Virgin, which is the Italian restaurant on board the ship. It was truly PHENOMENAL- I finished my entire meal!

And to end the night, we did some karaoke and then took an evening walk around the walking path at the top of the ship!

Day two in Barcelona was a success!

We started by going to el Mercat de Boqueria again to get more delicious food! We tried some new things and got another empanada, because I just couldn’t resist!

We did some shopping and stopped at a cute bakery that had delicious pastries!

We visited Park Güell, which is another beautiful work by Gaudi.

And we finished our day at a Tapas Bar for dinner! We will be heading on our boat tomorrow to cruise around the Mediterranean!

My family and I flew into Barcelona to prepare for our Virgin Voyages Mediterranean cruise! We had our first full day here, and I have loved Barcelona already so much more than I thought possible. This city is beautiful!

To start our day, we had breakfast at Mercat de la Boquiera, which is a wonderful food market. I got an empanada, and they had beautiful juices, fruits, and so many other fresh foods!

Next, we visited the Casa Botlló, which is one of the famous houses in Barcelona created and designed by Gaudi.

For dinner, we want to a Tapas bar and got some delicious bite sized snacks.

And finally, we finished the evening at Lucciano’s, a famous gelato shop here in Barcelona (and yes, the line was out the door and down the block!)

We enjoyed the most delicious Dessert Party with a special viewing area for the Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! Parade, and it was truly FANTASTIC! I got the best views, got to dance with the parade, and sing all of the songs! It was wonderful! If you’re planning a Disneyland trip, the dessert part my was worth it- and they also have fun dessert parties for the fireworks!

What is the definition of luxury? A Disney Cruise, that’s what!

I went on my first Disney Cruise last week, and I was truly blown away by the experience! I’m going to be honest- I was nervous. I was traveling in a party of all adults, and going on a notoriously kid friendly cruise line. And yet, I got off of that ship and said, “when’s the next one?”
