e. We have made it our mission to facilitate inexpensive travel to this region, taking you on a mission of discovery to unknown lands! Where and what is the Soviet style Republic know as “Transnistria”? Did you know tucked away in a corner of Europe within the official borders of the Republic of Moldova is a defacto but unrecognised State called the “Transnistrian Moldovan Republic” – Transnistria. It straddles the slither of land between the banks of the Dnister River Ukrainian. If you never had the chance to visit the former Soviet Union, Transnistria offers a unique insight into the Soviet way of life and can be visited today. Both Western Ukraine, Moldova and Transnistria are both calm and safe. We at Slavic Soul Travel made our own journey this year in June, the trip went without a hitch!
