The ADA does not regulate bed heights, and the inconsistency is a problem for wheelchair travelers. It takes away independence and puts stress on caregivers.

Just saw this and have to say, no! This is a bad design for an accessible shower. whirlpool bath got this all wrong. From the seat, a person cannot reach the shower nozzle, temperature controls, or shelf. Plus, there's a huge lip at the base of the shower. It should be barrier-free. You can do better whirlpool bath 🧐♿
