Hill-Murray's Joseph Quast and Minnetonka's Ryan Elder tangle for the puck in their semifinal matchup in the Gold Division at Ridder Arena. Minnetonka won 4-2 to advance to the championship against St. Thomas Academy. The other late semifinal winners Wednesday were Minneapolis (Silver), Hudson, Wis. (Bronze), and the University School of Milwaukee (Open.)

St. Thomas Academy's Brendan McFadden winds up for a shot during his this team's 5-4 Gold Division semifinal victory over Eden Prairie Wednesday night. Other winners in the early boys' semifinals were Cretin-Derham Hall (Silver), Minnehaha Academy (Bronze), and Simley (Open.) Last semifinals are currently underway.

Edina's Ben Brinkman brings the puck up against Centennial's Will Francis in Edina's 5-2 consolation bracket win in the Gold Division. Other winners in afternoon games Wednesday were St. Michael-Albertville, St. Louis Park, St. Cloud, Northfield, St. Paul Academy, Pine City and Princeton.
