If you could only visit one place, for the rest of your life, where would it be?

I know — it’s the hardest question ever.

But there’s just something about that one place that feels like it’s calling you back over and over again.

For me, it’s Florence—I love old churches (and there are plenty of them there!), I love the food, and I just love the vibe of a vibrant town.

But here’s the thing — I have a trip this year planned to Dubrovnik, Croatia. I’ve never been but based on what I’ve heard it could possibly unseat Florence as my go back place again and again place.

We’ll see! I’ll report back after August to let you know.

When it starts to snow (which it is supposed to do today!), all I do is dream of being somewhere anywhere but here. I want to put away my snow boots, hang up my puffer coat, and put away the salt (very necessary to avoid busting my butt on the icy stairs in front of my house).

Here are a couple of my suggestions for a last minute getaway to avoid the cold.

- Heritance Aarah - take me away to an over the water bungalow in the Maldives for a couple weeks

I am SO glad I didn’t miss this opportunity for my client! 👇

Last year, a client came to me to book a getaway for her and her family and came to me with a clear budget in mind.

I always honor my clients‘ budgets of course, but based on their list of things they wanted I knew they would really love the two bedroom suite with butler service which I was right about but since they decided to travel to Jamaica, I offered some enhancements that I knew would take the trip from regular to spectacular.

The problem? It was technically out of budget.

However, I demonstrated that including these extras (and making some slight adjustments to their travel schedule) would make sure that this trip would be amazing.
