Malawi is full of incredible stories of rebirth as many conservation efforts have taken place on its soil - Starting as far back as 2003 with the reintroduction of Rhinos, Elephants, Giraffes, and more.
Majete Reserve is one of those reserves with almost 12,000 animals recorded in its park with its steady growth over the past 20 years. This park is a hotspot for wildlife enthusiasts to see all kinds of species in one place and is a perfect addition to your next adventure.

Have you ever heard of Lake Ol' Bolossat? This lake is home to one of Kenya's most diverse and richest aquatic ecosystems. It's also home to the well-known jewel of the wetland known as the Grey Crowned Crane. This featured crane is nearly 38 years old & She's been monitored by scientists since around 1986 - making her one of the oldest living wild cranes in the country.

The African Giraffe - The "Tall Blondes" of the Plains according to our friends at the Great Plains Conservation!
These delicate & warm yet tall animals, much like our Elephant and Rhino friends, are becoming increasingly scarce in the wild with their total species population hovering at around 80,000. Please help us save these fellow gentle giants in rescuing and relocating efforts of the Great Plains Foundation.
