Surf racing is by far my favorite discipline of stand up paddle racing. The excitement on the beach, unpredictability of the ocean, elements of lucky, carnage, chaos and skill make it (in my opinion) the most exciting type of stand up paddle racing. I'm beyond grateful for an incredibly blessed weekend at the Pacific Paddle Games! Winning the insanely dramatic and fiercely competitive technical race final in a stacked field was amazing and to win the overall...just wow! I'm so blessed! Huge congratulations to all the girls who crushed it, especially my homegirl Shae Foudy in 2nd overall. You are the real deal and an absolute incredibly talented athlete, but beyond that a truly humble beautiful person! Also much respect to superwoman Annabel Anderson for absolutely crushing the distance race and taking out 3rd overall! Epic racing in the tech race also to my QuickBlade Paddles teammate Terrene Black. There were so many great girls performing this weekend, and I'm so proud to be a part of this sport with all of you. Thank you Supthemag and Salt Lifefor a great event and race director Anthony Vela and the entire event crew for working so hard! Epic! Huge thank you to everyone in my camp (friends, family, fans, my boyfriend) for cheering me on all weekend and for all of the prayers! Thank you to my sponsors for your continued support especially my buddy Dave Boehne for making me great Infinity SUP boards. Thanks to my training partner Karl Ring and the whole Performance Paddling crew for pushing me and supporting me. Wow! What a great weekend.
