The odometer of our bike has just turned 92 000 km... the last - northern stage of our expedition around the Americas we can consider completed. Despite the fact that it was very demanding (weather, road conditions, etc.) we managed to carry out the plan more boldly than we originally expected!
Dempster & Dalton Hwy done!
As we were predicted - September is already quite a risky month when it comes to motorcycle travel to Alaska. We could say: a weather lottery. And indeed it was: the temperatures were not very friendly, and together with often rain and even snow did not encourage motorcycle riding. Nevertheless, we think it was worth the effort.
Of course, there remains in our hearts a great insufficiency of this beautiful part of the world. However, in accordance with the principle that our safety and health is a priority, we returned to warmer climes with the hope that perhaps we can still return to Alaska in our lifetime.
We arrived in Victoria on Vancouver Island, BC 🇨🇦 - a beautiful place of Canada, where the final chapter of our wonderful expedition ends.
It remains for us to write the epilogue of this journey.... What will it be like? Well - life will show - after all, having learned by experience, we remain open to what fate will bring, which, as we know, sometimes writes its own scripts....
