At one time in my life, I considered both Skyrush & El Toro to be my number one roller coaster.
El Toro held this coveted title for the longest time until Skyrush snatched the title.
Bottom line, both roller coasters were top notch attractions - at one point in time. Unfortunately, I feel like these rides have passed their glory days and are starting to fall from grace.

Back in June of 2023, SeaWorld San Diego opened their new roller coaster that unfortunately, kind of went unnoticed. No one was really talking about it and the ride was overshadowed by many other roller coasters that opened in 2023. This is such a shame because Arctic Rescue is one of the better family roller coasters in operation.

Our bottom line when going to amusement parks IN GENERAL: be respectful of the park's policies and the park employees. Don't try to take advantage of things, just because you think you can get away with it.

We're always blown away by the conversations we have with other families who go to amusement parks, but don't even know that a "parent swap" policy exists - so one of the parents just misses out on riding most of the "big" rides.
