Disney Moments

Here are four of my favorite Disney moments from our family trip to Walt Disney World in 2016. The first one is of my son Beau when one of the storm troopers stopped, grabbed his hand and started asking about his watch. Next two are from when my girls and I did a meet & greet with Buzz and Woody from Toy Story. Buzz loved my daughter Adrien's long hair, so he reached over to grab it, the look of laughter on her face was priceless. Then to watch my daughter Bailey getting to finally hug her favorite Disney character Woody, she was actually standing in line crying because she was so excited as Toy Story was her favorite movie growing up. The final photo of one of my favorite moments during this trip is when a cast member decided to photobomb my kids as I was trying to get a photo of them looking at Cinderella's Castle before fireworks. They had no clue what was going on and didn't know it until they looked at the photos. The three of us that knew were just cracking up. This trip was full of so many memories as it was my daughter Adrien's Senior Spring Break trip & second visit, my third visit and my husband Brad's, my daughter Bailey's and my son Beau's first time in Walt Disney World. They all still talk about this trip almost 10 years later.

Travel Tips Tuesday

Pack Snacks for the journey. Airport food prices can be exorbitant, and many in-flight meals leave much to be desired. By packing your own snacks, you can avoid those mark-up prices and enjoy healthier options during your travels. Think protein bars, nuts, dried fruits, or homemade sandwiches. Not only will this save you money, but having your favorite snacks on hand can also make the journey more enjoyable.

Making Memories Monday

I am officially one week after Travelmation Retreat 2025 but I still have Retreat 2023 to share for Making Memories Monday. Retreat 2023 was of course another fun retreat full of memories, learning, and meeting new people. But I would have to say my favorite memory of this trip was the last night of the trip. Bobbi and I walked around Magic Kingdom. I had a Mickey ears made with my grandson's name on it, he was going to be born a couple days after Retreat. So, we took it to different spots in MK to have photos done with the ears. During our time we decided to do a continuous ride on the People Mover and ended up getting stuck on the ride because the power went out. When the power went out, we were in one of the dark tunnels, so it was DARK and we finally turned on the flashlights on our cellphones and everyone else followed so we had some like. Eventually we were escorted off the ride by cast members and we were taken out the exit near Tron, this was prior to Tron opening. So, it was fun getting a sneak peak of the ride.
