Next up later this evening is a Zoom meeting with our BDM for Alive Xperiences. Alive Xperiences offers us ways to put together unique itineraries for our clients wishing to travel in North America, Europe and Southeat Asia. Alive Xperiences is a new vendor for me and I'm looking forward to learning more about them along with everything they have to offer. That's the BIG part about a travel agent we are always learning about new products for us to use to help find the best vacation for our clients.

This week's featured National Park is Zion National Park located in southwest Utah and is a nature preserve distinguished by Zion Canyon’s steep red cliffs. Zion National Park was Utah’s first national park. Visitors to the park can explore the paths where native people and pioneers once walked, experience wilderness in a narrow slot canyon, see the array of the park’s unique plants & animals all while absorbing the parks rich history.
Activities that visitors to the park can experience during their visit:
• Backpacking through the park
• Bicycling the Pairus Trail & Zion Canyon Scenic Drive
• Birding: the park is the home of 291 species of the bird and visitors can pick up a checklist at the visitor’s center
• Camping at one of the park’s three campgrounds between March to November
• Canyoneering, which is an outdoor activity that combines route finding, rappelling, problem solving, swimming & hiking
• Climbing along the park’s 2,000 ft sandstone cliffs that are world renowned for their big wall climbs & adventurous nature
• Hiking any one of the park’s many trails
• Horseback riding on one of the guided trips from March to October
• Kolob Canyon: drive the five-mile scenic drive a long them while getting the view of the crimson canyons and access to various trails & scenic viewpoints
• Ranger led activities
• River trips along the Virgin River
• Sunset & Stargazing at Zion is a great place to re-connect with the night sky and you may even catch a glimpse of the Milky Way
• The Narrows: the narrowest section of the canyon. The walls are a thousand feet tall and sometimes the river is twenty to thirty feet wide. This is one of the most popular areas in the park.
