Other than that we've been loving Vietnam :) the food is delicious, the landscape is beautiful and one month isn't nearly enough time.

One of our favourite places in Laos was in and around Nong Khiaw, a little town squeezed in between two mountains. From our little bungalow right by the river we took a boat and a tractor to a nearby village from where we kayaked our way back the next day

The next 4 weeks will be spent in Vietnam, whoop! Just left Saigon, and we're now off to the Mekong Delta!

Quick update! We spent three amazing weeks in Laos (pictures will follow soon) and are now in Cambodia. After spending time exploring the temples of Ankor, we're now living the island life on Koh Rong! We caught our own fish for the bbq, took a night swim with glowing plankton and gulped down the necessary cocktails. Not too shabby ;-)

We've left beautiful Myanmar and are now heading through Thailand to get to Laos. Spent the night in our very own bunk beds on the 13 hour trainride from Bangkok to Chiang Mai

Yes, we're alive! Myanmar has been tough on us though. After Yangon we travelled to Kalaw where Eleni got a cold and left a trail of tissues on our two day trek to Inle Lake. Inle Lake's beauty couldn't prevent Kathryn from getting an airway infection though. A scenic trainride to Hsipaw later and she's taking a bunch of medicine and is on her way to recovery. Right now we're leaving Mandalay, where Eleni got food poisoning, to Bagan. Photos of the more enjoyable part of this adventure coming soon :)

Spent three days in Khao Sok National Park, where we did a tour that included more adventures than we thought we signed up for. Went hiking through the jungle, walked and swam through bat filled caves and did a lot of jumping into the lake. Getting more and more used to not wearing makeup and just not being very clean in general :)

Landed safe and sound in Hong Kong about 14 hours ago! Had a busy day and went up to the highest point of HK to see an amazing view of the city, only to find out that you don't see much through thick fog... Woopsie.
Been up for 30 hours straight and still going strong! 💪🏻
