It's been a long time since I felt comfortable endorsing an online poker site. This is the real deal. Backed up by names Like Brian Rast and Ari Engel, and with a solid tech and management team, I think this could be a game changer.
It's also partially player owned, features a ton of mixed games, and pays rakeback. And it appears to be legal everywhere including the US. You never know what the DoJ might decide to do, but I think these guys are legal, and if the DoJ tries to take any money or shut them down, they can't get yours because your money is stored in a wallet of your own that the site does not have access to. Basically, you can't get Full Tilted.
I've got a deal set up with them where any players that sign up through me and generate $100 in rake in the first sixty days get 100 free shares of the site. You can sell those back for $0.50 a share, so basically fifty percent rakeback plus the rakeback you were already getting which is quite good, or you can keep them and get paid a portion of the site's revenue every month.
Personally I'm going to pile up as many tokens as I can. If it doesn't work out, then I got play a bunch of poker and make some money. But if the site turns out to be the next big thing, those tokens are going to be really valuable. I'm already signed up and I would recommend you get on the early access list so you can jump in right at the start while it's still super fishy.
Phenom Poker is the first decentralized online poker site completely owned and governed by the player community.
