The African fish eagle is one of Africa's iconic hunters. As we navigated the Chobe River, we witnessed an awe-inspiring scene: two adult African fish eagles engaged in a fierce struggle with a juvenile for food. These magnificent birds are not only monogamous but also fiercely territorial. The juvenile fish eagle sought to steal a meal from one of the adults, showcasing the relentless drive of nature. In the heat of the skirmish, one fish eagle called for support, and its mate responded from afar, highlighting the strength of their bond and teamwork in the wild.
