Our ROOKIE Lifeguard Test will be held on June 4 2022 @ 9:00 AM. There will be a qualifying swim (100 yards at 1:25 or better at Cape May Elementary and then return to the Point for all 5 phases of the Test.. There will be an additional test on Sat June 11 if needed, More information will follow including openings and starting pay.

ALERT!!!
A change in our June 5, Cape May Point Beach Patrol tryouts. We will qualify just to take the test in the Cape May Elementary School Pool.
You must swim 100 yards at the pool in 1:25 mins or less. If a candidate does not meet the minimum time, that candidate will NOT be able to take the rest of the test.

Our Lifeguard Community lost Roe Daly to cancer this week. Roe Daly. and her husband Tom were integral forces in the administration of the United States Lifeguard Association, especially the Middle Atlantic Region. The former physician ed teach and along with Tom were world travelers. Her vivacious spirit will live forever in the lifeguards' hearts she touched. Will will miss Roe

Attention all parents and dirty car/truck owners. The Cape May Point Junior Lifeguards are holding their annual car wash this Wednesday at 10 AM to 12 PM. Donations accepted for end of the season pizza party and new equipment etc. Come and support our great group of kids and their instructors!!

Our 11th Annual Cape May Point Women’s Lifeguard Challenge will take place tonight at 6:30PM on St. Pete’s Beach (located at East Lake Drive & the Beach GPS Address: 102 Lake Drive, Cape May Point, NJ 08212).

About ready to close up until May 2018. Thank you for all your support. Condolences to the Grubb family for the loss of their matriarch, Nancy.
Hopefully by next season we will have a new racing boat. Look like we will have openings for 2 rookies. Have a safe and great fall-winter-spring seasons. See you in May

The Cape May Point Beach Patrol wishes a Happy 100th Birthday to Mrs. Nancy Grubb today! Chief Bill Oat, Lieutenant Ben Swan and Administrative Assistant Trish Siembora were lucky to congratulate her on this important occasion. She has been a vital and active resident of Cape May Point thoughout her lifttime. Her huband Bob Grubb, Sr. was a part of The Point's Beach Patrol.
