Why do we have a scribble for a logo?
We are curious about why no one is curious about our logo. After all as the self-proclaimed brilliant graphic designers that we are, we should be able to do better than a scribble, right? So today we shall be unraveling the mystery that no one is finding mysterious and be blowing our own horns. What else is social media for anyway?
Yea yea, we all want to be the ones to think of great ideas and great concepts. Be the trendsetters. What we do instead, is mostly end up investing a lot of time and energy cajoling the first idea that comes along into something good. But is that first idea 'the one'? May be yay may be nay. Will we ever know unless we go beyond that first idea (which is almost always influenced by something we have already seen or experienced) and pick our brains a bit more? A. Definite. No-brainer. Nay.
And that is what our logo stands for - scrapping the first thing that presents itself from the top shelf, easy-to-reach parts of our brains and digging a bit deeper for the gold, or in some cases, even diamond. We practice in what we call the 'idearrhea’ - not your everyday diarrhea. (Ha! Think we have a punchline here.) It’s deep people. Very deep.
So those little scribbly lines that you see is us making an effort, that is us digging for the gold. Not of the leprechaun variety, more like the Dubai-shopping-festival-goldrush-variety.
