Nicole joined my tour for the American Women's Club a few months ago, she's moved from the US to Berlin for a year. We really clicked and had a lunch date a few weeks later. She also supported and joined my charity tour in December and yesterday I did a Jewish heritage tour for her and her mother law who is visiting. I love guiding locals snd forming ongoing relationships. When we tour it feels like a day out with friends. Nicole is blogging about her experiences in Berlin and travels in Europe. Had a lovely tour yesterday with the Casper family from Australia. I salut them for taking a tour in this cold weather. We explored Jewish heritage, and here we are in front of some Stolper Steine, the stumbling stones , brass blocks commemorating victims of N**i persecution. Keep warm. Thanks for touring with me.

Thanks to all of those who joined my tour for charity! We managed to raise almost 500 Euros for Onkorat, an association in Berlin that supports cancer patients. This photo was taken in front of the Griesbach Haus on Fasanenstrasse. It was freezing today, yet everyone was such a good sport! And we brought along tea and Glühweine to keep everyone warm. And a big thanks to my friend Janell and her dog max for bringing some delicious baked goods. It was nice to meet new people. Have a lovely weekend!

At the Brandenburg Gate with Leslie Gordon, the Executive Director of The Breman Museum , which is the Jewish Museum in Atlanta. Before heading off to a work training in Munich, Leslie had a morning to explore Berlin..I am honored that she chose me as her tour guide. We both have a background in theater and a special Swedish connection, so we had so much to talk about beyond Berlin's Jewish history. She is a truly inspiring woman.
