NEW DETAILS FOR SPACESHIP EARTH LOUNGE!

When GEO-82 opens this year, the location will offer reservations for guests 21 and older. This lounge will be the ultimate spot to toast to a trip around EPCOT with innovative cocktails and globally influenced small plates while taking in spectacular park views.

With this new lounge, guests will feel like they're discovering an all-new part of Spaceship Earth – GEO-82 will surround them with iconic shapes and intricate structures inspired by the park’s instantly-recognizable icon. They will sit amid rich textures and warm, metallic tones that echo Spaceship Earth in an elegant and intimate setting.

When it opens, GEO-82 will be the first of two new lounges coming to Disney World this year. For those interested in discovering fun beverages for the whole family, keep an eye (and perhaps a telescope!) out for more news about the Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired tavern coming to Magic Kingdom Park later this year.

Spring is just around the corner here at Walt Disney World, so we are already thinking about some family fun on the water at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park for its 30th anniversary in April!

Starting April 1, grab your swimsuit, leave your coat at home and come on out for an anniversary celebration you won’t soon forget. Join us for a high-energy DJ spinning some toe-tapping tunes on the deck near the Polar Pub and fun interactions with Mickey and Minnie decked out in their winter attire. There will even be snowman bowling and character-themed tubes for floating down Cross Country Creek.

The party will continue throughout April with dance parties, special anniversary food & beverage items and more frosted fun than ever. There will also be some family-friendly games with cool prizes such as snowflake tattoos, wintery-themed rubber ducks and snowy bubbles.

And after the Blizzard Beach festivities conclude on April 30, we’ll transition to a more tropical splash when we reopen Typhoon Lagoon Water Park on May 1.
