Any time you travel to a foreign country, there are bound to be some notable and subtle differences between home and away. That’s pa...

Living in Florida, considered a "battleground" state in the upcoming elections does present certain advantages. There are opportunities to meet lots of major politicians, as both the parties send their bigwigs here to squeeze out the vote. My girlfriend and I met Bill Clinton at the weekend.

You need to watch this clip. I am back in the UK for a few months. Currently in Kendal, the epicentre of all the recent flooding. Luckily my mother lives on a hill.

More than 42,000 homes in Lancashire and Cumbria are without electricity after power stations were knocked out by the floods - with more rain expected later this week.
