The Urban Backpackers Urban Backpacking - verb 1. a form of exploration in which the participant(s) sets out on foot to discover local hot spots within the concrete jungle

The Urban Backpackers consisting of Mitchell Yee, Aaron Waters, Denzel Nicholas, Thomas Franco, and Sean Craighead, are going to explore the Bay Area in a new way this summer... BY FOOT! No train, bus, or any mode of transportation, just walking... For 7 days, we will travel from San Jose to across the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin County, video taping the entire journey... The point is not to see

if we can walk the distance but to rediscover a region that we have lived in our entire lives... We feel that there is still so much we have yet to experience in the Bay Area and we figured the best way to see it all would by foot... We will be hitting up as many great local restaurants, bars, lounges, cafes, businesses and places of interest as we can. If you have any suggestions of places that we should visit on our adventure please let us kno! We would also appreciate any type of feedback!
