🫖 being spilt this morning 😉Our family’s #1 trick for a Magic Kingdom that ensures mom and kiddos are low stress and high fun:We go to the park when we wake up, sometimes it’s rope drop and sometimes it’s not. Crazy right? Instead of rushing around in the AM, I use Genie+ to my advantage and ensure we have a beautiful afternoon/evening of attractions and rides I know my kids want to do - not the most difficult to get. We spend the AM at Magic Kingdom watching shows, visiting play areas, maybe rope dropping Pirates or *gasp* Magic Carpets 🙀 and maybe do a walk up reservation to Crystal Palace if we’re feeling it ✌🏻We save the “plans” for later after we have a pool break and a nap for my youngest. Minnie Van to the rescue! 🛟Sometimes bus lines are long OR dining reservations are closer than they appear OR rain is coming down and kiddos are one minute away from meltdown city!Minnie Vans are a service available onsite at Disney World that offers families with little kids a great option to expedite getting from point A to point B in a safe, comfortable, and private car. These cars are driven by Disney Cast Members and offer two car seats (can be forward or rear facing), seating for up to 6 people in your party, and bonus points* cartoons! Yes, it’s pricey. But, if it saves your day then in my opinion it’s worth it ❤️Here’s how to book one: 1️⃣ Open the Lyft app2️⃣ Set your pick up and drop off locations - ensuring that you select Minnie Van and not “Lyft drop off” for the park portion. 3️⃣ Select the Minnie Van option in the drop down - they also have accessibly Minnie Van options, too! 4️⃣ Wait for your ride at the Minnie Van point right by the busses, and that’s it! The Cast Member will ask if you need car seats installed and handle that piece for you. Like good enough that we go here and don’t make reservations at the other amazing DS restaurants 🤯 Don’t trust me? Maybe you’ll trust the Michelin guide 😉2️⃣ Missed out on that Ohana dinner res and still want those noodles? Head over to Tambu Lounge and order them a la carte instead! You can also get the wings here 😍3️⃣ Geyser Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is technically a pool bar which is just 🤯 but this open air bar restaurant is phenomenal and one of our top picks for a no plan lunch or dinner. Pro tip - go at night and time it correctly, you’ll be able to watch the Electrical Water Parade on Bay Lake. They are also considered free at some sit down restaurants if they eat from an adults plate 👀✨ Disney has an amazing number of rides and attractions that the ENTIRE family can ride together. This is such a game changer compared to other amusement parks and really sets Disney apart. You’ll find the most number of these rides in Magic Kingdom but EPCOT also has an impressive number! Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom may have less rides but they do have some great shows, attractions, characters and animals (!) to keep your little ones entertained. ✨ You don’t age at Disney. Don’t #1 - Don’t skip it! I often hear from so many families that they think they want to skip EPCOT and I disagree. EPCOT is home to the most number of rides without height requirements outside of Magic Kingdom, has amazing and unique character meet & greets and has playgrounds and an aquarium. Don’t #2 - Don’t forget about mobile order when feeding kiddos. The food and festival booths are fun but not always “kid friendly” - our favorite tip here is to preorder lunch or a snack at Regal Eagle so that you have a NO WAIT 🙌🏻 meal ready when you reach the American Pavilion.Don’t #3 - Don’t forget about the Disney Skyliner! Even if you’re not staying at a Skyliner resort, the Disney Skyliner can be a super fun midday activity for you and the kids.
