This also means that I'm the great great great great great great great great great great grandnephew of Pocahontas! So the family now has LEGIT Disney princess cred!

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT AHEAD!

I ordered this book on ebay and it finally arrived today so I cracked it open and jumped right in. I'm only on page 64 and it's driving me crazy. So many inaccuracies regarding dates, attractions, etc. It's clear that no one proofread this for grammar, punctuation, and continuity. The author contradicts himself within a single paragraph more than once and writes at a junior high skill level at best. I was so anxious to read this. Now, I'm on a treasure hunt to find the next flaw. As someone who loves Disney and those who share my passion, SAVE YOUR MONEY! (If anyone else has read it, let me know. I'd love to hear your thoughts and throw it into the woodchipper together!)

In case you hear anything, there was just a minor earthquake at Disneyland. Gary, Marilyn, Leslie and I had just left the park and were in a Lyft so we felt nothing. David and Lori were just getting onto Guardians when it all shut down. They got back to the hotel 15 minutes after us. They didn't feel anything. We're all safe and haven't heard anything about injuries or damage.

Just 5 weeks from today, the 5th Not-So-Annual Mickey's Concierge Road Rally will kickoff at 9:00am on July 8th!

With fun, adrenalin, and prizes for everyone, the games, puzzles and challenges are set and ready to go! Now, all that's left is finalizing the teams.

So far, The Portobello Roadsters AND Bad Batch are fully registered.

At long last, THE WAIT IS OVER!

On Saturday, July 8th at 9:00am, Mickey's Concierge Road Rally will ride again! We promise new and exciting puzzles, challenges and adrenalin rushes! And prizes for everyone!!!

If you want to participate as a competitor, assistant or prize contributor, just let me know and I'll add your name to the list.

More details will follow but you'll need a 3-member team to compete. The entry fee will be $50 per team.

For those of you who know me well, you're used to me posting videos of all kinds of Disney treats, but for the last three months I've been eating healthily...so this post is featuring 6 fantastic and healthy options that document my dining this trip: 1. Pan-seared salmon with broccoli and green beans from Carnation Cafe; 2. The Crustacean salad from Pym's Kitchen featuring shrimp, prawns, and assorted greens; 3. Open-face Carne Asada Taco (I skipped the tortilla) at Cucina Cucamonga in California Adventure; 4. A delicious salmon salad with mixed greens, avocado and pine nuts at the Craftsman Bar and Grill at the Grand Californian Hotel ; 5. A hearty and savory Endorian Chicken Salad with kale and cauliflower in Galaxy's Edge; 6. Banyan beef and veggie skewers from the Bengal Barbeque. Every last one satisfying and flavorful! Here's to eating well! And eating WELL!
