NEW WAVE - BACK OPEN ON CAPTIVA ISLAND!

We are excited to announce that New Wave is ready to operate our eco charters once again from the resilient shores of Captiva Island with Captain Kellen at the helm. While the last year has been trying, these obstacles have taught us to adapt and evolve.

Just in time for the upcoming holiday season our Captiva eco tour bookings can now be booked directly on our website through our virtual calendar.

Captain Kellen Hall was born in Fort Myers and has lived on Sanibel all of his life except for four years while he was working on Necker and Eustatia Islands in the British Virgin Islands. Growing up, his Dad would take him out in Pine Island Sound teaching him about the bays and beaches. Kellen grew up with a passion for the sea and as a young kid his parents had him racing sailboats at the Edison Sailing Center. To this day sailing is one of his biggest passions. He has been a pro kiteboarder since he was 18, traveling around the world doing freestyle competitions. Half way into his kiting career he found his love of teaching, so he switched over to guiding and becoming a Kiteboard Instructor.

Kellen is a 50-Ton USCG Master Captain and has captained and delivered catamarans in the Caribbean. Kellen is passionate about wildlife and conservation. He will show you the very best that our barrier islands have to offer.

Captain Kellen will be operating our daily eco charters departing from Tween Waters Resort on Captiva Island.

See all those little white marks? Those are barnacle scars!! When barnacle-infested manatees spend time in fresh water these hitchhikers die off and leave a little temporary chalky scar.
