-a whole lot of grant writing.

Celebrating the CHAMPION OF THE ARTS .popa at the Women Of The Year Awards last night.

When I first started in the music industry (a very driven 17 year old artist) I saw three incredible women building not only a ‘music scene’ but a warm and welcoming community through Blank Street Press and later on the Gold Coast Music Awards. I was inspired by these three mums and what they had built, watching them helped me gain the self confidence to pursue a full-time music industry career myself, I even nagged them enough for a job, which was my dream job at .
popa you all deserve Woman of the Year every year. But it was such an honour to celebrate the graceful, humble, creative and ever so passionate Chloe last night. No one is more deserving than this incredible woman, who I have had the great honour to work for over the past 3 years.

Konnection Artist Assistance are proud to be working with ATTICUS CHIMPS by providing project management and tour planning services for a very exciting 2025.

Three time Gold Coast Music Award finalists, rock bank ATTICUS CHIMPS has created their own niche of a genre with a style that combines hard-driving guitar riffs with moving lyrics. The band has developed a sound that is both unique and well-known, with an uncontrollable amount of raw energy.

Formed in early 2016 by Sam Bray, guitarist, vocalist & songwriter, recently the band welcomed drummer Jack Merriman to the Chimps as a new era is awakened with new music in the pipeline.

We can’t wait to see what this partnership has install!

With influences of 2000’s punk and folk Ollie Twohill is leaving his mark in the Australian music industry as a solo act and now with his band set which highlights the recorded work available for streaming.

Embracing the weird and expressing her individuality through her fun and ‘real’ music, ALBII doesn’t take life too seriously and brings vibrant colour to life through her Alt-Pop sound.

With her debut release eagerly waiting to meet you, you can expect to hear influences from 2000’s pop, 60’s rock and more.

After taking her first tentative steps in 2022, she was hit by a hammer blow in 2023 with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Forcing a pause as she overcame the debilitating treatments, ALBII is now ready and in the driver’s seat preparing to assault the senses with her debut alt-pop extravaganza. So jump in and join the musical misfits as we celebrate the beginning of ALBII’s adventures!
