I can not wait to learn from women who left the industry and went on to build diverse & empowering companies.
It’s no secret that I struggled the first two years on land (moving to a new country during lockdown wasn’t my best idea 🙃). Since partnering with Pearls of Wisdom] I’ve rediscovered my community. The women I rely on to understand the ups and downs of moving shoreside. It’s been such a gift, and I’m thrilled to continue to watch Pearls of Wisdom grow & thrive!

Let’s talk UNIFORM 👕
We all know it can be a daunting task ordering crew uniform, especially as you often get input (wanted or unwanted 🫣) from everyone onboard. We’ve all been there!
The goal is always to find a combo of comfort, fashion, and something easy to launder (laundry stews, we see you!)
Over the next few months I'll be sharing some uniform top tips from Vyara, the founder of 🙌🏻 Vyara is an ex-chief stew & fashion designer who is bringing her expertise to yachts around the world.

I’m finally allowing myself to take a moment to reflect on 2022—what a freaking year. To launch last November & then launch this past February, and to sit here now with a beautiful, supportive team around me is indescribable.

I am so thrilled to share the video recap of the recent event in London 🌸 As stews we give and give and give some more, so to finally host an event that served those who have given so much was something very special. Cherise & I wanted to ensure that everyone in attendance felt heard, appreciated and understood. All of this was only possible because of our outstanding sponsors: .connect 💐

The best crew birthday I ever had onboard? It's a tie… first, decorated the Crew Mess as if we were all lunching in Paris & then (the onboard Celebrations Officer) went to TOWN covering the crew deck with photos of me superimposed next to Taylor Swift. Both of those days, I was just so humbled by the love and kindness of the crew.
While we may not be able to decorate like these two photos for the crew (one can dream!), we can make an effort to add some personal touches! Maybe a homemade card, a gift from the crew, their favourite cake, a little video montage of their past year onboard. One crew member's parents organised someone dressed as a dinosaur to meet us at crew dinners for their daughter's birthday & she freaking loved it. It all came down to being thought of.

Going into 2024 with a clear mind & a joyful heart. 🌈 I don’t believe in the whole “new year, new me” thing, and instead I’m just continuing to do the work while getting specific on what a joyful life ACTUALLY looks like to me. 🌟 Since moving a couple months ago, I’ve rediscovered my joy, and can’t wait to continue to find my community locally and be more purposeful with my time. 🚀 🌼 So here are the daily doses of encouragement I hold close to me, what are yours?
