We packed up camp early this morning and headed to see the last part of Sequoia/Kings Canyon that we hadn’t saw. It was worth it. Here are a few pics from Hume Lake, deep in the Sequoia National Forest.
There is a Christian camp there that was the size of a average town. People everywhere, playing volleyball, kayaking, small and large groups sitting by the waters edge.

I just received an invitation to attend a Princess Cruise Seminar on the beautiful Ruby Princess in the Port of Galveston this weekend. I couldn’t agree with this more. Nothing refreshes the mind and soul more than a road trip. Hiking, camping and paddling back water in a kayak are a few of my favorites.

Royal Caribbean International has announced that guests are no longer required to be vaccinated when sailing from the US!

•Effective Sept 5, 2022

•Non-vaccinated guests ages 5 and up will need a Covid test within 3 days prior to sailing.

•Vaccinated guests are not required to test prior to sailing unless the sailing is > 10 nights.

•At home tests will be accepted!

•Masks are optional for vaccinated guests and recommended for non-vaccinated when in public places.

I just returned from 7 days of paradise right here in the United States, Lake City, Colorado. The last week of July, low temperatures of 45 to 55, highs 70 to 75, fresh mountain air, beautiful rivers, streams, waterfalls. Mountain rides in jeeps and side by sides. A-lot of love, laughter, campfires, picnics, wildlife, park playing and ice cream eating.
