Ladies and Gentlemen start your engines as the 24th Annual NWMA Annual
Operators Conference, Driver’s Competition (ROADEO) & Vendor Showcase is underway. The winner of the
Driver Competition can choose to go onto the United Motorcoach Association (UMA) National Driver’s Competition in Oklahoma City, OK at their Annual EXPO provided they meet the UMA qualifications. Our lunch Sponsored by Prevost is always a welcome addition to the event and truly appreciated. The support from the UTC Group is an added bonus as the drivers maneuver the difficult course. This years On Board judge Dan Tomlinson with Lancer Insurance certainly contributed to the success of the whole team. A big thanks goes out to the NWMA Board for all their support in this event.

Still, here we are on the edge of the last year of excellent business tax benefits. 2025 is the year many tax benefits are set to expire. The group explored which tax benefits are set to expire so they could be prepared to take advantage of them!

Driver fatigue is a silent yet critical issue in the motorcoach industry. It refers to exhaustion or sleepiness. Resulting from inadequate sleep, extended work hours, strenuous work or non-work activities, or a combination of these factors. This condition significantly impacts drivers, who often face long and irregular hours on the road. As an Insurance Company supporting drivers and their families, Lancer aims to highlight the seriousness of driver Fatigue and offer practical solutions for its prevention.
