Jozi bound and ready to go fast!

The new Aspero is one helluva bike out of the box, but we made it a bit better anyways. All of the new new and , Snoqualmie slicks on the 40/44’s and a saddle that keeps you cushy till the cows come home.

Are we jealous that this isn’t for us? A little.

Are we stoked for ? A lot.

The best thing is knowing that a bike will be ridden, create experiences and be lived on and that is true here. From the Cederberg to the Karoo and all over the Garden Route, this bike will see South Africa like few others.

The new Aspero is a gravel bike for the way *most* people ride gravel bikes:

• Fast on road and groad
• Clearance for 45mm tyres, and a little more when needed, while still letting you make it an all road bike without damaging the handling
• Easy pedalling and a racer feel without getting too stiff and hurting you over every bump
• Enough adventure features for a big day but not so many that you feel you can only ride it when touring
• It looks good standing still 😍

In addition it comes with all the thought through features that Cervelo is known for, and a frame construction that really is worthy of the brand.

We are blown away by this one, and you will be too.

The Kevin with GRX820 is the perfect do-everything spec for us. Reliable, comfortable and easy to live with it ticks all of the boxes for a bike made to be ridden.

Big Air Kev, it’s quite the sight 😍

While the Kev is and will forever be a special bike the Air Kev takes it to the next level. Custom 3D printed sections, hand bonded Carbon-Ti meeting points and the same legendary smoothness that makes a Curve special. There’s not much more dream bike than this.

A very special bike is heading North, the first Air Kev in 🇿🇦.

The progression of our beloved Kevin, with all the learnings from the dreamy Belgie Air, this is one very special gravel bike.

A 3D printed seatpost topper and a carbon seatmast hand bonded to the Titanium frame are the stars of the show, but every millimetre of the bike is a story of craftsmanship.

Finished off with everything you can dream of for a bike, this will be a very special part of the new owners life. A true dream build.

This year I promise to finally get an event of sorts together, although my view of how that starts and grows is not that of a big event organiser.

I will keep the route as accessible as possible. The focus will be on a 200km 90% gravel route but shorter options will be possible. There won’t be any long climbs but it’s the Midlands so it also won’t be flat. The start/finish will sell good coffee before the ride and good food after and there will be parking and showers. Ride stops will (for now) be self-supported with compulsory stopped-time. The entry will be no more than any trail fees the route requires. It will be a ride that reflects what gravel is to me.

Dates tbc, but April is the goal. Hopefully the rain will have stopped by then 🤷🏼‍♂️
