Southbound Nature Tour
Day One
We'll pick you up at the border or the airport in Tijuana, from where we'll head straight down the spectacular Pacific coast to Ensenada for our first night, in the afternoon we'll head to the Valle de Guadalupe for you to do some wine tasting. Day Two
Today we head south along the coast past San Quintin, before the highway cuts inland near El Rosario. We overnight at Cataviña, in the heart of the spectacular Valle de Los Cirios, where you can visit the nearby cave painting site. Day Three
We continue south for your first sight of the Sea of Cortez at tranquil Bahía de los Ángeles before heading on to Guerrero Negro to spend the night there. Day Four
In the morning we go on a whale watching trip in Laguna Ojo de Liebre, incorporating a visit to the world's largest salt plains. Then we head inland through the Desierto de Vizcaíno (another World Heritage Site) to the idyllic oasis town of San Ignacio, where you can visit the magnificent mission. Day Five
Today we travel across to the Cortez coast to the historic port of Santa Rosalía before heading on to picturesque Mulegé and then passing through the beautiful Bahía Concepción en route to Loreto. Day Six
We embark on a half-day cruise amongst the dolphins, sea lions and other wildlife of Loreto Bay. The rest of the day is yours to explore Loreto, the historic first capital of the Californias. Day Seven
We make our way through the dramatic Sierra La Giganta and on through the agricultural towns of Insurgentes and Constitucion, before arriving in La Paz in the afternoon. You'll have plenty of free time here. Day Eight
An aquatic day in La Paz takes us on a boat excursion to Isla Espíritu Santo, where you can snorkel with sea lion pups. Day Nine
We take you to see the Whale Sharks in La Paz Bay, where you can snorkel with them. Day Ten
The tour ends. We'll get you to the airport or the ferry port for you to start your journey home. Buen viaje!
