Looking for a way to get out into nature, and enjoy the last of that Summer sun? Get in touch with nature this weekend with some of our favourite walks around the LGA. Starting with walks close to the heart of Parramatta.
Parramatta Park is perfect way to get in to nature, get your heart rate up by enjoying the 3km walking loop around the park, and finish it off with a picnic in Wisteria Gardens.
Challenge yourself and enjoy the natural beauty of the Australian bushland with the Parramatta Lake Loop. This 4.2km walk loops around the lake, taking you through gulley's, over paths, and along the edge of water. Keep an eye out for some of Australia's native wildlife along the way.
If you are looking for a walk that will take you by a waterfall where you can dip your feet and cool off then Waterfall Walk at Hunts Creek is the walk for you. This waterfall walk will take you on a 3.4km walk passing the hidden Balaka Falls.
Head on over to Sydney Olympic Park and check out the Brickpit Ring Walk. An elevated circular walkway that allows you to view the Brickpit while protecting local wildlife.
