It doesn't get any better than this for beachfront relaxation - no street noise as this home is on a dead end street - but still beachfront. Nothing is more relaxing than watching the dolphins frolic right from the deck in the morning or viewing that slowly setting western sunset touch the edge of the Gulf's horizon in the evening.....right from the deck off the living room. This home is one of the few beachfront homes with a beachfront pool directly on the beach. it is somewhat secluded with the seagrass that must be allowed to grow by law. There is a 30ft wide patch of clean sand next to the pool & viewable from the deck for the kids to play in close to the house. 100feet out from the house, the white powdery Ft Myers Beach sand that FMB it is so famous for can be found for 3 1/2 miles in either direction. This is a fantastic jogging or walking beach, super for sea shell collectors ( one must be mindful of the limits for shells and no live ones to be collected), and for those into water sports there are wave runners/ sailboats/ and parasailing for use and hire all along the beach area. If you are a biker, there are also bike rentals that can be rented by the day or week. If the Gulf attracts you for the fishing, there is good fishing right from the beach, or there are numbers of boats for hire at any of the five marinas on the island. Group party boats are also an option and leave daily from the marinas both full day and half day fishing. This home is also close to walk two to four blocks to stores, restaurants, and even the local movie theater. There is also a 50 cent trolley that runs north and south on the island to take you to other shopping areas ( Publix supermarket), or other strip malls on the north and south ends of the island. If you continue on the trolley off the island, you can be connected with the city transit lines of Ft Myers proper.

This luxury home is located mid island of the Ft. Myers Beach island. It is directly on the Bay for great boating with a private pool & spa between the house and bay. Home equipped with HDTV and hi-speed WiFi internet . If you desire the great beaches of the island, it is only a short 300 yard walk to the opposite side of the island with seven miles of pristine sugar sand. Rentals of boats, jet skis, parasailing charters, fishing charters, bicycles, motor scooters, electric cars, etc..... are only a short walk from the house. Fantastic restaurants anywhere on the island - seafood, steaks, Italian, fast food restaurants (even a McDonald's), grocery stores, convenience stores and gas stations. Also at the marina are daily all day or half day fishing excursions as well as a high speed ferry to Key West. In addition, there are nightly off-shore gambling/dining cruises on the big 'M.' Located nearby off-island are more than twenty golf courses, shopping outlet centers. For a day of adventure you can visit the next island (Sanibel) with fantastic shelling, and the Ding Darling Nature Preserve for close glimpses of alligators and all the natural wildlife of the area. This gorgeous beachfront home sits on Ft Myers Beach about mid island, with views of the Gulf of Mexico and Sanibel island directly from the 60 ft deck or pool area. There are 7 miles of white powdery sand to traverse on Ft Myers Beach - from the house either 3 miles south or 4 miles north for great jogging, walking or shelling. The two story home was completed in 2002 from a total renovation of an older home - basically torn down except for one wall and totally rebuilt and now including a second level. There are two bedrooms, both with full en-suite bathrooms on the second level. Both rooms have direct access to balconies that overlook the pool and beach area. The ground level has two bedrooms, also with full en-suite bathrooms. One of these bedrooms also has direct access to the deck and pool/ beach area. The deck faces the Gulf waters, so to sit on the deck and observe the nightly sunset is almost religious. The guest house is rented separately from main house, and rates quoted below are ONLY for the main house. Pricing on the guest house is $725 to 800/wk plus tax and cleaning in addition to the 4BR rates below..
