Sneak peek at our most recent design project at the Central Presbyterian Church In Montclair... a few finishing touches to go, but we are really excited about the space so far. This room was a large multi-purpose room and children’s space... they gave us an opportunity to transform the entire space into a children’s space. Featured here is the pretend play area. One of five intentional areas in the room. They have tons of community events at this Church- be sure to check out their upcoming schedule! Stay tuned for more photos!

When shopping for your child's room, think longevity. Investing in pieces that will last will save you time and money in the long run by not having to re-purchase. Machine washable rugs are AWESOME. There is no need to worry about how to spot treat or care for a heavily *kid* trafficked space- just pop it in the washing machine and dryer (yes, they fit ☺️). Lighting choices for your child's room are important for so many reasons. A night light is key for safety, while a table lamp is useful for story time and creating a relaxing setting. Lighting can help create vignettes around a room, and help illuminate areas where kids will spend focused time. The light strands featured in this beautiful room by help to add dimension and warmth to an already inviting space. Overhead ceiling fixtures or cord hanging pendant lights can set more of a tone for the space and could be a reflection of your overall design aesthetic (since many times this fixture will be a part of your growing child's space for years to come.)
