City offices, facilities closed Monday
City of North Port offices will be closed Monday, Aug. 5, out of an abundance of caution due to weather conditions from Hurricane Debby.
This includes Warm Mineral Springs Park, North Port Aquatic Center, George Mullen Activity Center and the Morgan Family Community Center, as well as athletic fields.
Garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulk pickups will continue as scheduled for City of North Port customers.
The City Commission will meet at 10 a.m. Mondayat City Hall to declare a local state of emergency. This is a procedural step to allow emergency funding for any necessary repairs.
Tonight's North Port United Tour meeting at American Legion Post 254 has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date.

Ages 7-14 is tackle football but we issue the #1 rated, best selling shoulder pads to each player! All players are issued Xenith shoulder pads! Safety for your Huskies is paramount!

Hey everyone! We have a few coaches that can hold conditioning Thursday and Friday morning 9-11 as well as Saturday morning 9-11 on the field by the shed. We will still be holding normal evening practices 6-8 the rest of the week as well. Your player will only be allowed to attend one of the practices a day.
