Often compared to Animal from The Muppets, Rob “Action” Jackson beats on the drums as if they were seriously misbehaving. His effortless style and showmanship shine with each crash of his Soultone Cymbals and boom of his DC California Drum Co. Rob, a New Jersey native, was just 3 years old when his dad – also a drummer – handed him a pair of sticks. Pots and pans were no match for the tiny tot who

pounded on anything that would make noise. The drums became Rob’s true calling. Rob ran with his natural talent, and by the time he was 12, he had won back-to-back Jazz drumming competitions in Hershey, PA. In 2003, Rob added to his awards by winning the Norwegian Cruise Line Talent Search. In fall 2012, Rob Joined forces with Street Drum Corps for their "Blood Drums" Production at Dorney Park in Allentown, PA. In addition to the drums, Rob’s musical accomplishments include singing, playing guitar and composing original music. While his main gigs remain in the Northeast, Rob has toured the Southeast, Texas and as far west as California. When he’s not touring, Rob teaches percussion to both children and adults at Valley Music Center and is the Cheif Engineer and studio manager at The Studio @ VMC in Long Valley, NJ.

Mr. Chubbers aka uncle Ben. The oldest of the pekingese p-pack. Thank you for an amazing 16 years. My siblings will argue who's dog Ben really was, but we all had a special bond growing up with him in our lives. Ben loved coming over and laying in my studio when I was working. He was never shy about asking for treats even when he just got some. He was always happy, or sleeping😅. They definitely broke the mold when they made you. One of a kind. The biggest heart. We were so lucky for the time we got. Výhra and the other pups were looking for you today...We love and miss you so much Ben🥺❤️🌈🐾chubbers12

UPDATE:
Výhra is on the mend and doing better. Her wounds are healing well.
This week was scary. It was hard to tell how she's been doing because of her meds knocking her out so much, but she's starting to act like herself again. She sometimes forgets she has injuries.. but we are taking it easy. She's super happy to get some car rides, fresh air, and relax in the sunshine today. In moderation, of course 😅 Thank you, everyone, for checking in and sending love and well wishes. It's means so much ❤️🙏
Also thanks Mel the surprise treat box! She loves it!

Storytime! I was really stressed out about a recent gig, mainly because I was sick and I never get sick and I was unsure if I'd physically make it through.. and just before I left, I thought " I should bring a spare snare" so I went into my studio to pick one out. Sure enough on top of my snare rack(I have a lot of snares and a bookshelf to hold most of them) there sat a prototype snare I built with Nick Menza. This was the snare that led to us building my comic book kit. Sitting on the very top, I had thought this was in storage as I would never use this at a gig... on the top head was Nick's signature and year 2009 staring back at me.. how did it get here??... it was like he was saying " just go play, have fun, don't stress! even if you die doing what you love! "
I used that snare live for the first time and it was an amazing gig.
Miss you Nick!!! Thank you for the years of mentorship and friendship
