Tubing through the Jaguar Paw Crystal Caves today in Belize! It was hike up, hike down, tube through the caves, then a short hike, more tubing - then a swim through the dark lagoon, which was awesome!

Today is my (Karen) eighth anniversary as a Travel Advisor with Magical Travel! I spent it on the Celebrity Apex with my family on a sea day. Time in the solarium, just relaxing. An escape room challenge with the four of us. A few minutes in the casino. Dinner at Le Petit Chef. It was a perfect day.

A visit to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando isn’t complete without a character meal. We highly recommend the character breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace at the Riviera Resort. One of the benefits of using a Travel Advisor is we handle making dining and park reservations! And the food was delicious!!!! Now off to Epcot!

Did you know this? If you don’t have Global Entry yet, for whatever reason, there’s still a short cut to Customs and Border Patrol at many US airports.
Shhhh! We don’t want everyone knowing this!
Download this app -Mobile Passport Control. You input your passports, fill out your declaration form, and submit it through the app when you get to your destination. You’ll receive a QR Code to show the agent. There’s a separate line for those with this app (also, sometimes it’s shorter than the Global Entry line).
It took us from a line of hundreds last night, to a line of 6 people!

Well. Some days you have surprise perfect weather, and some days you arrive in the port on the day they receive more rain in one day than they’ve had in 25 years.
It came down to: me, taking pictures and being even more soaked through or me, checking everything out from under my poncho and staying drier with no pictures. I chose me, drier. But not by much.
But for my Epcot lovers, here is the real Akershus! (But not the Stave Church)
No real time for shopping (I saw gorgeous candlesticks in a window I desperately wanted, but no time to go back 😞
My little Freya will find a place on a bookshelf instead.

Sea Days = Self-Care Days for me. Which means the spa, some sun and definitely shopping.
My husband and I were married the week after Disney Cruise Line launched 25 years ago (our actual anniversary is the day we disembark). Needless to say, we’ve been leaning in to all of the special touches Disney had for our/their Silver Anniversary at Sea.
I’ll spare you any pictures of my acupuncture and massage, and just share some random merchandise and ship pictures!

Yesterday our port was Stockholm, Sweden. This is often most client’s favorite stop, as it’s a beautiful city with much to do! We toured the Royal Palace (staterooms still in use, beautiful tapestries and sculptures); wandered around a bit; had a drink at the Ice Bar; lunch at a cafe; some shopping and then Fika - “a moment to slow down and enjoy quality time alone or with friends, often with coffee and pastries.”
Bought my son a Fika cook book, so he can learn how to make all of the Swedish and Danish pastries for me! (If you see him, don’t tell him!)

Yesterday our port was Kiel, Germany - primarily a Naval port. We took an excursion to Schwerin, Germany to see the castle and town. Our tour through the town was by tram, so pictures were hard and I didn’t get any, but it was a lovely spot. Our guide spoke a lot about the difference between pre and post unification of Germany - her family has always lived there. The castle was the former home of the Dukes and Grand Dukes of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is now the seat of Parliament for the state.

After a few days in Gothenburg, Sweden staying with friends - we took the train to Copenhagen, and are boarding the Disney Dream! Visiting Germany, Denmark, Stockholm and Oslo over the next week.
