Sossusvlei is a salt and clay pan located on the edge of the Namib Desert in Namibia. The reddish sand dunes of the desert seen here are among the tallest in the world, with many rising more than 656 feet (200 m) in height. This image shows approximately 116 square miles (300 sq. km) of Sossusvlei.

Africa de Sud Safaris is a company doing guided 4x4 self-drive safaris in Southern Africa since 2007.

Namibia. Currently 2 tours each 8 days, Kaokoland & Damaraland in Namibia. (Self-Catering only)

Botswana. Four safaris in Botswana: 16 day safari in Okavango Delta and Caprivi (Namibia) and then 2 eight day Safaris tour in Mabuasehube & Central Kalahari Tour in Botswana. (Self-Catering only). 14 day Eastern Botswana Safaris including Tuli Block, Makgadikgadi Pans, Nxai Pans etc.
