Ketchikan, Alaska is such a fun town to explore! From historic Creek St to the totem poles all around town to the Great Alaskan Lumberjack show, there is SO much to see and do!!

The Alaska zoo takes in injured or orphaned animals and nurses them back to health and helps them safely transition to captivity in a natural habitat. I loved this zoo because it didn’t feel manufactured at all. It was nestled within the Alaska wilderness and the animals there were all rescued and nurtured.
