Recently, Luca & Francesco embarked on a 14-day journey through Nepal with Rustik Travel, filled with cultural discoveries, stunning landscapes, and thrilling adventures. Welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, they started with a half-day tour of Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. Then took a flight to Pokhara, enjoying views of the Himalayas. The trek began with a drive to Kande, walking through rhododendron and pine forests to Pitam Deurali. The journey continued to Low Camp, through scenic forested paths, then on to High Camp, with stunning mountain views. The trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp - Upper Viewpoint offered panoramic views of Mardi Himal, Annapurna, and Machhapuchchhre. After descending through beautiful forests to Siding, they returned to Pokhara for a relaxing evening. A free day in Pokhara included exploring Sarangkot Hill, Phewa Lake, and World Peace Stupa. The trip continued to Chitwan National Park a full day of safari activities included a village walk, cultural program, jeep safari, bird watching, and a visit to the Elephant Breeding Center. The return to Kathmandu was by tourist bus, with free time for personal activities. Another free day in Kathmandu allowed for exploring Durbar squares, Swayambhunath Stupa, and the Garden of Dreams. The trip concluded with breakfast and free time before transferring to Kathmandu International Airport. This journey with Rustik Travel created unforgettable memories of Nepal's beauty and culture.

The Seven Summits, the highest peaks on each of the seven continents, represent the ultimate mountaineering challenge and a testament to human determination and resilience. Mount Everest in Asia, standing at 8,848 meters (29,029 feet), is the world's tallest peak and a symbol of human endurance. Aconcagua in South America, at 6,959 meters (22,831 feet), is the highest outside of Asia and known for its extreme conditions. Denali in North America, 6,190 meters (20,310 feet) high, is noted for its severe weather and remote location. Kilimanjaro in Africa, rising to 5,895 meters (19,341 feet), is famous for its unique ecological zones and accessibility. Mount Elbrus in Europe, at 5,642 meters (18,510 feet), offers a mix of cultural and physical challenges. Vinson Massif in Antarctica, reaching 4,892 meters (16,050 feet), is known for its isolation and icy terrain. Lastly, Mount Kosciuszko in Australia, at 2,228 meters (7,310 feet), is the smallest of the Seven Summits but is celebrated for its scenic beauty and relatively gentle climb. The eastern part of Nepal, consisting of 16 districts including Dhankuta, Ilam, Biratnagar, and Janakpur, remains largely unexplored by foreign travelers. I am privileged to say that we team of six people from across different countries, including myself (representing a Rustik Travel from India), was the first to venture into some of these areas in order to provide our clients, who seek experiential travel, with fresh and unique experiences.

These villages and towns are untouched, offering breathtaking landscapes, unique lifestyles, and the chance to connect with remote communities in a way that few travelers ever experience. Unlike the frequently visited regions of Kathmandu and Pokhara, these hidden communities showcase the untouched beauty and rich culture of eastern Nepal. I'm immensely grateful to the Community Homestay Network () for organizing this experiential journey and showing the wonders of eastern Nepal to us and also heartfully thank you for Priyanka from Planeterra giving us a wonderful opportunity and Definitely, without them i wouldn't have joined this trip. From the bottom of my heart I would like to say thank you for & sir for this amazing opportunity this trip opened a new insights about the travel world.

Mr. Hemant Soreng, started the Mount Everest Expedition in early April and summitted on May 22, 2024. The two month expedition requires physical fitness, mental toughness, and all the three D’s (Dedication, Determination, and Devotion).

We couldn't be prouder and happier to celebrate his incredible achievement and have him back with us.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who supported and encouraged Hemant throughout this journey. 🙏🙏

Recently our Rustik Travelers went on a trip to Himachal Pradesh. It was a delightful journey through some of the region's most picturesque and culturally rich locations. Starting from Chandigarh, they traveled to the serene town of Dalhousie, where they got to explore the lush landscapes of Khajjiar, often called "Mini Switzerland," and the vibrant local markets. The natural beauty of Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary and the historic charm of St. John's Church added to the magical experience.

From Dalhousie, they moved on to Dharamshala and its neighboring areas. The spiritual atmosphere of McLeod Ganj, home to the Dalai Lama, and the tranquil village of Dharamkot offered a peaceful retreat. Highlights included visits to the Tsuglagkhang Complex, Bhagsunag Waterfall, and a memorable excursion to Palampur and Kangra, where they were able to explore tea gardens and ancient temples.

The journey concluded with a scenic drive back to Chandigarh, leaving them with cherished memories of Himachal Pradesh's enchanting beauty and cultural richness.

Some of the prominent temples included in the Chola Temple Circuit are:

1. Brihadeeswarar Temple, Thanjavur: Also known as the Big Temple, it was built by King Rajaraja Chola I in the 11th century. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its massive vimana (tower) and intricate sculptures.

2. Airavatesvara Temple, Darasuram: Constructed by Rajaraja Chola II in the 12th century, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is known for its splendid architecture and exquisite stone carvings.

3. Gangaikonda Cholapuram Temple, Gangaikonda Cholapuram: Built by Rajendra Chola I, this temple complex is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is renowned for its massive lingam (a symbol of Lord Shiva) and impressive sculptures.

4. Kailasanathar Temple, Kanchipuram: Though not as well-known as the others, this temple is one of the oldest structures in Kanchipuram. It was built by the Pallava dynasty but later renovated by the Cholas. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is renowned for its architectural beauty.

5. Chidambaram Nataraja Temple, Chidambaram: This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva as Nataraja, the cosmic dancer. It is one of the holiest Shiva temples in South India and is known for its architectural beauty and spiritual significance.

We recently completed the Paths of Happiness Mardi Himal Trek in Nepal. A unique hiking retreat, led by the monastic brothers and sisters of Plum Village, France and organized by Rustik Travel.

Beginning the day with relaxing meditation and having our meals in silence, slowly and mindfully enjoying the taste with a diverse group of trekkers from all around the globe.

This retreat was no less than an eye opener for being greatful of wonders around us that is Mother Earth and an unforgettable journey of finding our inner peace.
